About
Tesfamichael Getahun received his Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Bahir Dar University in 2005. He later received his Master of Technology in Electrical Engineering – Electronic Systems, IIT Bombay, India, in 2005, and his Master of Science in Robotics and Automation from Aalto University, Finland, in 2014. In 2021, he completed his PhD studies on image-based navigation of autonomous vehicles at North Carolina A&T State University. His research interests include “Control and Navigation of Autonomous cars,” “Computer Vision,” “Sensing and Perception,” and “Sensor Fusion.” He is a member of Autonomous Cooperative Control of Emergent Systems of Systems (ACCESS) Lab .
