About
Aliasghar (Al) Arab is a research associate at ACCESS Lab and an adjunct research professor at New York University. He has over eight years of industrial experience in Artificial Intelligence, Telecommunications, Industrial Automation, and Autonomous Vehicles. He has worked in academia (NYU) and with companies of varying sizes, from early-stage startups (Zoomi Inc., Nuro AI) to prestigious research labs (Nokia Bell Labs, Verizon Emerging Technologies Lab). He has demonstrated his ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. He is passionate about enhancing the safety and reliability of robotic and autonomous systems for future sustainable autonomous communities. He aims to advance state-of-the-art control theories using AI for autonomous robotic applications. He believes that his efforts will have a positive social and environmental impact.
